Ford is coming out of nowhere with a brand new Lightning EV. The vehicle itself has some very impressive stats. It’s what Ford Lightning likes to call five-passenger SuperCrew cab. 5.5-foot beds have similar dimensions are all with conventional counterparts. There is a max payload of about 2,000 pounds. All of the four hundred pounds usually enter the front trunk, aptly called frunk. The Ford Lightning can also tow upwards of 10,000 pounds. There is also an extended battery for 563 horsepower, with 775 lb-ft of torque.
With also a driving range for 300 miles on only a single charge. There also tends to be a standard battery. With an alternate choice of 426 horsepower and 775 lb-ft and a range of 230 miles. There are also front motors and rear motors that provide standard all-wheel drive with skidplates saving the underbody while off-roading. There it still holds on to the full-size spare tire. Just like in Ford Lightnings, for real, there is a F-150 turning out to be quick and powerful for the F-150.
On a brand new Electric Vehicle Platform, there’s plenty to enjoy about the Ford Lightning. It comes with electrical architecture along with fourth-gen electronics, the F-150 Lightning is maybe the smartest and closely connected truck in the Ford F-150 lineup. Not to mention all these features and apps that come with a huge 15.5-inch touchscreen. The base work of the truck is not too entirely expensive. $41,669 comes in for retail and fleet customers. There happens to be more than XLT starting with $54,669. The Ford Lightning has been in the works for three years while the skateboard has been created from the ground upwards.
Ford Lightning is a pretty reliable vehicle because they have batteries that weigh about 1,800 pounds there. This is all going to be a very interesting year to see as far as developments go. How about that for an electric vehicle!
